For six years Cambodian Children’s Fund has provided life-changing education, nourishment and healing to vulnerable children from some of Cambodia’s most destitute communities. In the beginning our world revolved around the health and well-being of 45 youngsters. Today we care for more than 700 children, and we have extended our services to provide for their families and communities and crisis.

Don Mirra: Haiti
Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 21:53:10, Port -Au-Prince, Haiti was hit by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake. The Death toll would claim over 250,000 lives. Two and a half years prior to this tragedy, photographer and activist Don Mirra was in Haiti documenting the lives of the Haitian people through the lens of a camera.

Hope for Children focuses on empowering local communities to best care for their vulnerable children and break the vicious cycle of poverty. We support a wide range of projects which provide the children with food, shelter, education, medical care and life skills. By addressing the psychological needs of the children, the work of Hope for Children goes beyond many of its counterparts. The carers participate in programs to enhance their parenting skills and ability to become economically self-sufficient. Through these programs, the children and their carers are building a brighter future for Ethiopia.

1.4 billion people on our planet live in extreme poverty. The Global Poverty Project seeks to invigorate the global movement to take effective concerted action on poverty through the presentation 1.4 billion reasons.

New Life Home Trust was born through the founding of a baby rescue home in Nairobi, Kenya, in 1994. The founders, Clive and Mary Beckenham, had been involved in a number of humanitarian projects when they became aware of the plight of abandoned and orphaned babies, particularly those born HIV positive. As the program progressed, a unique phenomenon was experienced as upwards of 90% of the HIV positive babies admitted became HIV negative after a few months of care.

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.
